Wisconsin Badgers becoming an Under Armour school?

Adidas and the University of Wisconsin have had a long partnership and a lot of history together. The school has been sponsored by the apparel supplier since 2001, but it appears that agreement is likely on it’s last legs. Earlier in the week, we talked on

CB Derrick Tindal suffers scary injury during Badgers spring practice

Perhaps the best bit of news to date in the Wisconsin Badgers’ spring camp has been a lack of news about major injuries happening. That streak could have ended on Sunday, as sophomore cornerback Derrick Tindal appeared to suffer a severe upper body injury. Severe enough to have to be transported via ambulance to the […]

Badgers add in-state defensive end Luke Benzschawel

Little brother following in big brother’s footsteps, it’s becoming a Wisconsin Badgers football tradition. There are the Watt brothers, the Biegel brothers and countless others before them. As of Friday afternoon you can add Grafton, Wisconsin’s own Benzschawel brothers to the mix. That’s because Beau’s little brother (who isn’t so little), Luke Benzschawel, was offered a […]

Morgan Zulinick

Morgan Zulinick leaving Badgers hockey program

Earlier this week news broke of major changes for the University of Wisconsin’s men’s hockey program. However those changes to the coaching staff weren’t the only ones happening. On Friday afternoon the Badgers athletic department announced that sophomore forward Morgan Zulinick was leaving the program behind to tend to his family back in Kamloops, British Columbia. […]

After a 4-26-5 season Mike Eaves was warned by Athletic Director Barry Alvarez that something needed to change if he was going to keep his job. Mike Eaves did not take Alvarez’s warning lightly. Eaves has reportedly fired assistants Gary Shuchuk and Matt Walsh.   Gary Shuchuk, a former Wisconsin hockey legend, came back to the […]

Bo Ryan lets refs have it after national title game loss

Bo Ryan may be the second-most polarizing head coach in college basketball after Kentucky’s John Calipari. He didn’t make many more friends with some in the national media or sporting public after Monday night’s loss to Duke in the national title game either. While being interviewed after the loss by CBS, Ryan refused to hold […]

Badgers can’t overcome Duke’s guards, lose national title game

Wisconsin struggled to hold down Duke’s guard play in its December loss, the same was true during Monday’s national championship game. Tyus Jones poured in a game-high 23 points and Grayson Allen added 16 points off the bench to pace the Blue Devils to a 68-63 victory in the national title game. The Badgers finished […]

Frank Kaminsky is named Naismith Player of the Year

After coming within seconds of a national championship game last season, expectations were set rather high for the 2014-15 Wisconsin Badgers. Much more so when Frank Kaminsky made the choice to return for his senior season at UW. On Sunday, the accolades for Kaminsky’s individual play continued to flow in as he was named the […]

Badgers bounce Kentucky, earn national title tilt with Duke

Kentucky came in to the game 38-0, but the Wisconsin Badgers became the one in 38 and 1, taking down the Kentucky Wildcats 71-64 in a true heavyweight fight at Lucas Oil Stadium. Revenge, redemption…whatever the national narrative was before the game, it didn’t matter much to the teams on the court on this Saturday […]

USA Today goes all “white boy” on Wisconsin Badgers on Eve of Final Four

At some point this was likely to come…you know, Wisconsin Badgers basketball is just a bunch of “white boys” playing a “black man’s” game. Well, congratulations USA Today and Josh Peter…you went there. Except, what exactly is your point? Surely it can’t be that college basketball is a black’s only game, right? That would be […]
