CONFIRMED: Barry Alvarez to coach Badgers in Rose Bowl

136342119.0_standard_709.0.jpgRumors have been flying around since the news of Bret Bielema leaving for Arkansas yesterday, but one of the biggest was that Barry Alvarez would possibly coach the Badgers in this year's Rose Bowl. Well, Bret Bielema left the Badger Nation one last parting gift as he confirmed in his Arkansas introductory press conference he won't be coaching in the Rose Bowl. That leaves Alvarez as the most likely candidate and we've been able to confirm he will indeed coach Wisconsin in the granddaddy of them all!

Putting our information together with the fact that Coach Alvarez has put together a press conference at 10am Central tomorrow and you've got all the confirmation you need that this is actually happening.

We'll be covering it live and BTN will air the press conference LIVE on TV as well as BTN2GO. So, make sure to follow us on Twitter for full coverage of this developing story.
