Partridge Leaves Wisconsin for Arkansas

Wisconsin has yet another coordinator off it's hands and co-defensive coordinator, associate head coach, and defensive line coach Charlie Partridge is off to join buddies Bret Bielema and Chris Ash at Arkansas. He will still coach Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl per the official release from Arkansas. However, at Arkansas he will wear just one hat, as the defensive line coach.

Of course this loss has could have a major affect on the immediate recruiting in the state of Florida, where Partridge was doing amazing work for the Badgers, however the more frustrating thing is seeing a coach take a demotion for a bit more money in the SEC.

Thankfully, one such recruit, Sojourn Shelton, has taken a wait and see approach and has reaffirmed he isn't opening up his commitment just yet.

Partridge has been on the Badgers staff for the past five seasons and began his career at Wisconsin as the defensive line & specialist coach before adding co-defensive coordinator and associate head coach to the mix before the 2011 season.

With the loss of Partridge only Ben Strickland and Andy Buh remain on the defensive side of the ball, however Buh has been rumored to be leaving for Arkansas as well.
