Report: Wisconsin RB coach Thomas Hammock off to the NFL

Thomas Hammock has long been seen as one of the most integral parts of the Wisconsin coaching staff. He was one of just two holdovers from Bielema's coaching staff to join head coach Gary Andersen's staff. Hammock's biggest loss could be on the recruiting trail, where he was seen as a key figure in getting the Badgers in to the state of Georgia in this class. He was long the main recruiter in New Jersey and was responsible for guys like Corey Clement, Melvin Gordon and no less than Taiwan Deal and D.J. Gillins in this class.
