Forward Cara Walls was named a 2nd team all-Big Ten forward and teammate Monica Lam-Fiest was named a 2nd team midfielder.

They weren't the only ones to be honored though as a trio of freshman were named to the all-Freshman team. Forward Lindsey Holmes, midfielder Kinley McNicoll, and defender Lexi Peterson were given those honors.

Walls finished the regular season with 10 goals and 1 assist to garner 21 points on the year. The sophomore led the Badgers in both goals and points. Lam-Fiest had 13 points and led the team in shots with 54 through the end of the regular season.

As for the freshman, Kinley McNicoll led all Badgers in assists this season with 6 (tied with Lindsey Johnson) and Holmes recorded two goals and an assist while starting 2 games and seeing action in 18 games.

Wisconsin earned the 6th seed in the Big Ten tournament and will take on Michigan at 6:30pm Central tonight. The game can be watched online via the Big Ten Digital Network ($).
